Begining my Virtual Blog Tour

I've only been a published author for a little over a year and a half and in that time I have learned so much. I had no idea there would be so much work involved in being a published author. I especially didn't know how hard it would be to promote myself. Writing a story, building characters that readers can relate to and fall in love with while engrossing the reader in a story that will keep them coming back for more is a piece of cake! Promoting myself is not.

It helps to have someone show you the ropes, guide you to the right places to promote yourself and your books. Pump up Your Book Promotions does that and I am so thrilled to be part of their list of authors. I've been working with Dorothy Thompson for a few months now, adding her authors to my blog, Book Cover Lovers and when she approached me with the offer to help me promote myself I jumped at it. She has been such a help to me and I've learned even more since starting on my virtual blog tour.

So now I am on a roll promoting book one in my Passion series, Discovery in Passion and finding that I have no time to do much of anything else. But I am loving it. This is what I was meant to do. Getting out there, virtually, and enticing the readers to want to pick up one of my books.

So watch for me in the coming weeks while I pimp my book, Discovery in Passion!
