Visitors to Orlando, the family vacation capital of the United states, might want to take a break from the theme resorts and spend some time on the white sands of Flagler County or St. Augustine Beaches or stay at the trade Winds Island Resorts.
There is Cypress Gardens, with it's classic shows and the Hard Rock Hotel, with it's adult entertainments once you get away from the big resorts.
As the news from the auto industry in Detroit, Michigan (The Motor City) continues to reflect the effects from the continuing rise in the cost of gasoline; truck and SUV sales are off 20 percent from last year, both major party's Presidential Candidates have announced Energy Plans that they claim will lead to lower energy prices, with the United States eventually becoming Energy Independent (like our neighbor to the North, Canada.)
Both candidates support the Cap-and-Trade scheme that the U.S. Senate is trying to impose on Americans already struggling to pay for the gas to get to work. Cap-and-Trade has to raise the cost of all energy used in the U.S. as producers will naturally pass-on their increased costs to their customers-US!
We will be updating the reader count on these articles as we are trying to determine which candidate the Internet is most interested in as their "Energy Plans" change in response to voters reactions: John McCain is in favor of rescinding the Federal ban on drilling for oil off America's coasts and wants to start building 100 nuclear generating plants.
