She's twelve! And she's doing about a good a job as can be expected on most things she does in life. She's not the best student. She doesn't have the most intelligence. But she has found a way to hang on some kind of way. read more »

I have had pets my whole life. No matter what has gone on in my life I always had a dog. I have not had a Dog since the split between me and my ex-wife over 2 years ago. This is the longest I have gone. The job I have had is a 9 hour day but 4 hours on fridays. I just can not see getting a dog because of my work schedule but I really want one. read more »
When they are puppies and kittens you really don’t think about them getting old. But as the years go by they do age and getting old is just part of the deal. We have six and only one is very young; Suzie is about 18 months old. The rest are pushing 10 and older and that has me a bit sad. read more »

Recently, I started taking our dogs for walks again. The past year we were so busy trying to put the house back together after a natural disaster that I became lazy about taking them beyond the pen and backyard. Not a good thing, I know. read more »

My mother stopped by the house early this morning. She got here in time for Pet hour. Pet hour is an hour every morning in my house where we all gang up on our pets. One walks the dog while the other cleans the Rabbit cage while the other cleans the kitty litter box, Then we move on to changing the Iguana cage and feed the fish. read more »
Bob Barker is willing to donating $750,000 too have an elephant named Maggie moved from her home in an Alaska Zoo to the Performing Animal Welfare Society sanctuary in Northern California which is in a much warmer climate more suitable for elephants. All that is needed now is the go head from the director of the sanctuary zoo. read more »
