Although we do not get a local paper regularly, we do get the county wide paper at occasional intervals. I have actually gotten three in the last couple of months. I have noticed a growing trend. The papers are much smaller, thinner. And on the side bar of the front page, there are links and web addresses to blogs where you can access more stories.  read more »

Ex-President Bush has gone skydiving again at the age of 83. Bush was celebrating the re-opening of his Presidential library. This is his 6th time he has gone skydiving and the first since 2004 when he jumped to celebrate his 80 birthday.

During World War 2 President Bush was a pilot and was shot down over the Pacific island of Chi Chi Jima before parachuting too safety.  read more »
