
I saw on a news report a little while ago that a court in California has ruled that those that homeschool in the state must be accredited or they will be subect to penalties under the law. The rationale expressed was that they want to assure the consistency of what children are taught across the state. But there is no requirement for accreditation for private schools. read more »
On a celebrity news site, I found this quote from Sylvester Stallone, referring to his former box office competitor:
"At one time Arnold and I were like Sodom and Gomorrah, Cane and Abel, very competitive."
Does he mean that? Yes, I think he does, but only the part from Cane to the end of the sentence. read more »

Bob Barker is willing to donating $750,000 too have an elephant named Maggie moved from her home in an Alaska Zoo to the Performing Animal Welfare Society sanctuary in Northern California which is in a much warmer climate more suitable for elephants. All that is needed now is the go head from the director of the sanctuary zoo. read more »
