For the better part of the past month I have written, written, written......It was all part of the National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, for short. And I met the goal of 50,000 and won the contest for the third straight year I have done this. I also might add I think I have a pretty good story. Not long ago I mentioned how the history details of minor characters in my current WIP are bugging me to write a story based on one, or more of the characters pasts. Well, after one of the characters constant nagging (in my mind of course!) I've decided to set up an outline for the possible story with plans to write it during NaNoWriMo next month. read more »
When you're a writer it is a lifetime project. You may have days, weeks or even months when you wonder why you do it and what would happen if you stopped altogether. The problem is that for most writers writing is in their blood. It gurgles and bubbles away inside you until you have to put words on the page. read more »
