I feel sick about term paper mills - or do I?

Every now and then, as I am looking for new jobs or sites to submit my freelance writing work, I come across term paper mills. They are always marketing as "a student resource center". Reading between the lines, I know that it is a place to help students cheat.  read more »

Why is it that I am more productive in winter?

I noticed a trend from the last few years. I am more productive in the winter with my business. Last year, I made most of my year's earnings in the months of November and December.

Why is this? I know a lot of you experience the same thing - but I don't have kids that are home. My husband still works, as usual.

I Decided to Run A Marathon and My Writing Motivation Has Soared

After a three year break, I decided to run another marathon. My first marathon had me training during the hot summer months. Now I am faced with the opposite extreme - I live in Massachusetts and it's been really cold!

My New Website, A Learning Experience

I made myself a website last week to advertise my freelance writing services and it's been a great learning experience. I went with HostGator and have found them excellent so far. I used their web templates in their site studio product to create the look of the site and added a wordpress blog.  read more »
