Now at 15,371 words and I'm very pleased. The story continues to flow and I'm happy to be a quarter of the way to the goal of 50,000 words. I also have 8 scenes coming together nicely.

Keeping up with all the details of my story is a challenge. I've tried using a loose leaf notebook and I've also used colored index cards.  read more »

It's the first day of NaNo 2007! I had a good start with 1901 words.

I can tell a difference this year. The words are coming easier, I'm not struggling like I did the past two years.

Looking forward to the weekend and some serious writing time.

I sat down yesterday and made a list of scenes to write during NaNo. My goal is to complete 25 good scenes.

If I make the 50,000 word count, fine. If not, my novel will still be so much farther than it is now.

In December/January I'll go back and connect the scenes and edit. Then submit to a publisher in the spring.
