When I see museum store catalogs arriving at the Crawford W. Long Museum where I often help out as a volunteer, I find exciting books and educational games that make me want to be a kid again.

In Ontario in recent days there has been much discussion on two related topics.
First should faith-based schools receive funding in the same way as the Public school system and the Catholic school system.
Second should students be segregated by their ethnicity, having "blacks" separated from "whites", teaching history slanted towards heritage. read more »
I came across an interesting figure on student debt from a mid-size state college in Ohio. The school has about 20,000 students and last year alone, students borrowed $129 million dollars. Some percentage of these students have credit card debt on top of that.
If that is accurate, it certainly shows that more college expense is being paid by debt, than by cash and financial aid. read more »

The new term is getting underway, and I`ve enrolled on three courses. These are NLP, Reflexology and Counseling Skills. Unfortunately, the Reflexology might not run due to low numbers but the other courses are brilliant. Looking forward to getting stuck in and learning some new stuff. I just love to learn. read more »
