Understanding Your Own Odyssey

Journeys, and most especially Homer's Odyssey, have long been viewed as symbolic of our personal journeys towards our highest goals, often spiritual transformation.

Returning home! How deep and sweet the thought is, whether it's from the war, the jail, the business world, or epic battles against our own inner demons. read more »

Solitude

"Solitude is the deepest well I have ever come across. I imagine it would be different if solitude was forced on you, but to choose it is to find a source of sustenance that never runs out." --Robert Perkins

Looking at my life as a journey,
as a search into mystery,
I have inadvertently discovered that I can learn more about myself
in one hour of solitude
than in a week of noise. read more »
