As a summer vacation trip approaches, there are a million things to do--mostly chores! I plan to be enjoying some time in Montana, the setting for both of my novels. It's been too many years since I've been back to Glacier National Park.
With too many things on my plate, something's got to give way, and for now, that's going to be my blog here on communati. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you and have a small part in your lives as you wrote about your joys and sorrows.
It's been a notable experiment and, for a while, it was a happy and enjoyable one. It's time to move on, I think, and get those chores done prior to the trip, to remember to mow the lawn more often, and to keep up with my share of the house keeping.

So, as Tigger always said, TTFN.

It's a Goodbye With a Twist
It generally means to live is to live well, good luck and good fortune.
It also means I will still bother you occasionally with a few emails.
Have fun my good friend.

Glacier National Park is Now...
Wired! You will probably be able to connect with the Internet through the Wi-Fi service that most motels offer, be sure to take your laptop! You can keep a Communati "Journal" of your journey. I have read that the glacier in that park has been getting larger, contrary to what has been happening with other ice masses in the Northern Hemisphere.
Unfortunately, there is no escaping the Presidential campaign, even MacDonald's has a large flat screen with a CNN news channel on it.
Obama has an "Energy Plan" that he says will create millions of jobs while also making the U.S. "Energy Independent," Click:

The Tasman Glacier...
here on New Zealand's Mount Cook area is getting smaller. Global warming and climate change here and there! Figure that out?

One point of the trip is escaping the Internet
As a writer friend of mine said, we're all too plugged into everything. I don't want to be wired up to the world 24/7. I've been going to Glacier Park for over 40 years, and very much look forward to never seeing a TV, cell phone, or WiFi connexion!

Summer for you...
but winter for us. Its damn cold at present. Glacier Park would be appropriate for NZ now.
