Communati is growing and the current host can't keep up. I never expected you to love Communati so much...now we have to move! But that' a good thing. I'm in the process of transferring to another hosting service to deliver a better Communati to you.
 
I expect the process to take about week to get everything up and going. I will try to get the latest posts, but you know how the real world works. Make sure you keep backups of your posts!
 
I'll post a notice when the process is complete. If you need me, contact me at: admin@communati.com.

Updated 2/7/08: The errors are from the current hosting service, not Communati.com. The transfer is proceeding fine. -Communat

Mark I'm glad that things are taking off and doing well in that we are a growing community, kudo's all around... Smiling
 
There is a reason it is snowing, I'm ready, not with the big one but the little one that could lead to the big one, 7 complaints out of 42 that should be enough to throw into the system that something will stick, maybe all of it?
 
I'm off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of OZ...
 
Now I have to also include that Microsoft isn't helping, I should have been done weeks ago, but it was one thing after another and the bottom line, my program is getting older and they want more money...
 
I should write my own program, I like to share and make things work for people, I'm not so greedy that I have to be the richest man in the world, but I would like to be comfortably compensated for the damage that was done to me and my life. I have a plan...
 
I hope I live long enough to see it through to completion... Eye-wink

I was working on a few user information pages, tutorials and such when the web host decided Communati was too big for its britches. Once I get everything transferred and running correctly, I'll get back to it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

...I've been wanting to ask if (once your server problems are ironed out) a new setting can be added that allows us to say NO to those green underline advertising links that started appearing in our copy several weeks ago.

Here is my thought...the point of the ads are to make money from the visitors to the site, not necessarily from the contributors. That being said, I propose that you remove the ads for anyone who gets 1000 points or more, as they are the more common contributors.

I'm still working on the transfer to another host, but it's taking a bit longer than I expected. I've also had some personal issues I have to deal with (both good and not-so-good) so please bear with me.
