Terms of Use

1. What Communati is

Communati is a listing service. Local people and businesses post events; visitors browse them. Communati LLC (“we”) does not organize, host, run, or supervise any event listed on the site.

2. Who can post

Posting is for people and businesses based in the community the site serves (currently Ventura County, California). We review every listing and may decline or remove any listing at our discretion, including national or corporate campaigns, campaign or partisan political events, and anything unlawful, misleading, or unsafe.

3. Your listings

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for having the right to use any photos or text you upload. By posting, you give us permission to display the listing on the site, in our emails, and in advertising that promotes the site.

4. Payments and credits

Posting packages, subscriptions, and advertising are paid through Stripe. Event credits are consumed when a listing is submitted and returned if we decline the listing. Credits from an Event Pack expire six months after purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future charges and future posting but does not remove existing listings.

5. Attending events

Saying you are going, or requesting to attend, is not a ticket or a contract. Hosts decide who attends events with an approximate location. Anything you agree with a host is between you and the host.

6. Accounts

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
